PROJECTS>SAMURINDO

Samurindó is a New York city based quartet dedicated to explore and blend some of the Colombian traditional music with different genres and musical forms such as jazz or funk, among other popular musical expressions. Their live performances are energetic and fresh; the band is always looking for new textures and grooves, reacting to the public and venue on every show, creating a unique vibe in every performance. Samurindó's debut album was recorded on May of 2006 and it will be released by local label Chonta Records. Some of the performances of the band in New York City include venues like Satalla, Carlito's Café, Stain Bar, The Wreck Room, Terraza Café and C-Note, among others.
